Every wedding is a dream come true, special and unique and we have the privilege of helping many South Bend brides achieve their dream wedding and reception every year. As DJs in South Bend helping accomplish these wedding dreams for brides in northern Indiana, is very rewarding and fulfilling and we treasure the memories from every one of our former brides and grooms. Every so often though a wedding reception comes along that is one for the record books where guests, newlyweds and the disc jockey just clicks into one unstoppable rocking party that you wish would never end. A wedding reception that we will never forget.

The wedding reception of Aimee and Mark is one of those events. Aimee and Mark were married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame and chose the Palais Royale, in South Bend, for their wedding reception. From the moment the guests entered the Palais Royale, the fun just didn’t stop until the lights came on. It kicked off with an incredibly sweet toast by the maid of honor and an equally touching toast by the best man. From there the Aimee and Mark cut their spectacular looking cake and took to the dance floor and were soon joined by their family and friends.

Later in the reception the groomsmen rolled a piano into the center of the dance floor and Mark sat down at the ivory while Aimee led everyone in a rousing rendition of Piano Man. Check out the images below, this was one wedding for the our record books!

Notre Dame Wedding Disc Jockey

Easter is next weekend and after that the 2012 wedding season will kick into high gear. It is a busy season us at the Music Machine, as disc jockeys, and we are looking forward to all of the up coming weddings and assisting in making the wedding receptions of our brides and grooms just spectacular!

In anticipation of all the wonderful weddings this season, we thought we would take a moment to look backward to one of the beautiful and spectacular weddings we had the pleasure of providing disc jockey and master of ceremonies services at last summer. Here are some of the lovely images from Amanda Fales Photography from the wedding of Kendra and Pierre.

Kendra and Pierre were married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame. The wedding reception followed at the historical Palais Royale in downtown South Bend, one of our favorite reception venues to DJ at! It was a joyous and emotional happy wedding reception, with lots of laughter, fun and most of all dancing!You can see more gorgeous images from this beautiful wedding on the Amanda Fales blog.

I came across this article on the Huffington Post today that offers great advice for those planning their wedding day.

You are unique. Your ideas matter. Choosing the right vendors for wedding and reception can be daunting. Whether it be flowers, photographers, caterers, disc jockey entertainment, or photo booths take the time to interview, call references, read blogs, but most of all… trust your instincts. If a wedding “deal” sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Will you be sacrificing your wedding vision to get a cheaper rate or are you being talked out of your plans to fit someone else’s limitations?

Find experienced wedding professionals. Hire creative wedding vendors with organization and personality.

And once you’ve found your perfect match, stop looking! Don’t second-guess your decision by continuing to see what you could have had. Trust in the professionals you made an educated decision to hire; now enjoy the planning experience!

South Bend Bar Mitzvah Disc Jockey | Nathan

The picture is of the calm before the storm as Nathan’s guests were about to arrive at the Jewish Federation Community Center for his Bar Mitzvah… 15 minutes later I am in my tux and greeting Nathan’s guests from all over the South Bend and the country as well as his friends from Clay Intermediate Center!

Music Machine entertained the Bar Mitzvah guests as disc jockeys with lots of dancing and also Game Show! It was a great party with Nathan’s family & friends! Learned a couple new songs from the kids too!

South Bend DJs | Carnaval at Hacienda with Paul!

The Music Machine will be the disc jockey at the Erskine Village Hacienda tonight for Hacienda’s annual Carnaval Celebration!

The Music Machine and DJ Paul will be spinning tunes and offering karaoke, on the enclosed patio from 7PM to 11PM TONIGHT!

South Bend DJ | Daddy-Daughter Dance

There is one party that I always look forward to being the DJ at every year, especially since I have a daughter myself, that is the Daddy Daughter Dance. What a great night I had at the Century Center! Over 1100 guests attended the 2012 South Bend Parks & Recreation Department’s annual Daddy-Daughter Dance and it was a real pleasure to be the disc jockey, again!

The Daddy Daughter Dance is an excellent chance for some quality time with our best little girls. Sweethearts from age 3 to 12, dressed up like the princesses, they are escorted by their fathers, for an evening of music, dancing,photos & fun! Lots of news crews came too! Culver Wedding DJ | Lindsay & Ryan

Music Machine was the disc jockey, in Culver, for the wedding reception of Lindsay & Ryan at the Woodcraft Camp Mess Hall. This rustic set wedding reception was a lot of fun to be the disc jockey for! These wedding guests and our beautiful bride and handsome groom were ready to party and the dance floor was packed for the entire night.

The Woodcraft Camp Mess Hall is a really interesting set up with sweeping angled columns along the middle. The room is designed for open air with screens all around the space. However, in true camp spirit, the weather was cold and windy. Plan B took effect and custom tarps were in place around building. It did NOT dampen the spirits of the bridal party or the guests and everyone enjoyed the event.

Our Tivoli Photo Booths was in place for instant photo strips and a scrapbook for Mr. & Mrs. Rogers.

Congratulations to Lindsay & Ryan and thank you for hiring Music Machine and Tivoli Photo Booths to entertain at your wedding reception!

Not only was the Music Machine there but our sister company was too!

Bar Mitzvah DJ | Knollwood Country Club

Knollwood Country Club, in Granger, was the location for the celebration of Alex’s Bar Mitzvah!

Alex celebrated his bar mitzvah in style with friends, family and the DJs from Music Machine! It was a high energy, thumping, fun dance party with some 80s music, for the moms (only the best!), and modern songs from Taio Cruz, Usher, Katy Perry & LMFAO! Everyone celebrated on the dance floor.

In the Knollwood Country Club banquet hall, large screens set up to watch the Notre Dame-Michigan game too! Love either team or not… it was an exciting finish.

Congratulations to Alex on becoming a man!

Music Machine had the honor of being the DJ for the wedding reception of Kendra & Pierre. Our newlyweds choose the beautiful Palais Royale in downtown South Bend, for their wedding reception celebration. As a South Bend wedding DJ, we couldn’t imagine a more fun or better group of people to be the entertainers of . As always, the Palais Royale was a pleasure to work in, as a South Bend Wedding DJ, the staff was great and banquet hall is classically beautiful.

Our bride & groom came prepared to Tango, for their first dance, to the delight of all their family, friends and our DJ staff.

After the main wedding reception festivities of the cake cutting, first dance, father daughter dance, mother son dance and bridal party dance, the groomsmen stepped out of the room to return looking like these guys! So cool!
