I came across this article on the Huffington Post today that offers great advice for those planning their wedding day.

You are unique.  Your ideas matter.  Choosing the right vendors for wedding and reception can be daunting.  Whether it be flowers, photographers, caterers, disc jockey entertainment, or photo booths take the time to interview, call references, read blogs, but most of all… trust your instincts.  If a wedding “deal” sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  Will you be sacrificing your wedding vision to get a cheaper rate or are you being talked out of your plans to fit someone else’s limitations?

Find experienced wedding professionals. Hire creative wedding vendors with organization and personality.

And once you’ve found your perfect match, stop looking! Don’t second-guess your decision by continuing to see what you could have had. Trust in the professionals you made an educated decision to hire; now enjoy the planning experience!
