Family Camp 2023

Chinese Family Camp is a group of Chinese American families that have been getting together for the past 65 years! They do all the usual camping things… rock-climbing, hiking, zipline, swimming, boating, toasting marshmallows by the camp fire. They also participate in cultural education activities for 2nd, 3rd & 4th generations with art, cooking, writing, music, histories and more! In 2008, Music Machine DJ Paul joined as the featured entertainment for the Thursday evening GAMES & DANCE PARTY! We bring our Tivoli Photo Booth too!

And I’ve been there for every in-person camp since!

Paul is a lifelong resident of the Michiana area, attending Penn High School and the University of Notre Dame. He started part time with The Music Machine in 1985 performing as the lead disc jockey at hundreds of weddings, school & corporate events. In 1995, Paul bought The Music Machine business and has been South Bend’s full-time DJ/entertainer for over 27 years!
